Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arata SS's Raphael Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto de Brito in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Arata SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Messias to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José Monteiro in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Cavalcante saved Aroeira from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Arata SS's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto de Brito came free, but Raphael Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gustavo de Castro sent off a good shot on target. Michel Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Cavalcante having to interfere. The supporters of Arata SS booed when Aroeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pedro Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aroeira's protests and gave Pedro Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aroeira's Pedro Guerra got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Michel Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo José Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Umberto de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aroeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umberto de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paulo José Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Raphael Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Aroeira's Gustavo de Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michel Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Norberto Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo José Monteiro made a kick off. Gustavo de Castro struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Raphael Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aroeira. If Umberto de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo da Costa in the 57th minute of play forced Arata SS's goalkeeper Raphael Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Umberto de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes Arata SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oséas Cabral who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Oséas Cabral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raphael Alcântara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paulo José Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Raphael Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto de Brito in the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gustavo de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aroeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umberto de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Alcântara having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Arata SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Teles to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
