Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gláuber Abreu made the kick off which started today's match. Felippe Veloso came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Commandatuba EC's Dé Gerber. But to his dismay, Dé Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Martelet AD's Márcio Linhares got a free kick in the 14th minute. Régis Linares charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Régis Linares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Commandatuba EC booed when Martelet AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dé Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Commandatuba EC! In the 30th match minute, Commandatuba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Pires to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Paulista in the 33rd minute of play. Dé Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Veloso having to interfere. A collision led to Martelet AD getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Régis Linares hit a great ball. If Márcio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célio Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Martelet AD's goalkeeper Felippe Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Martelet AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Gerber came free, but Felippe Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Martelet AD's Guilherme Paulista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Guilherme Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes Commandatuba EC got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Pires. After having played for 72 minutes, Dé Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Commandatuba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Célio Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Commandatuba EC's protests and gave Célio Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. Commandatuba EC's Leonel Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Abreu in the 81st minute of play. Felippe Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Coelho in the 82nd minute of play. When Guilherme Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Martelet AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Paulista couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes of play, Martelet AD's Guilherme Paulista made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Favoretto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felippe Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Martelet AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
