Ismael Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jairo Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Araquari's Jairo Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Chaves in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Digo Vidal got free with Jairo Tande in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filipe Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Araquari got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Faria. Jairo Tande was out of position in the 49 minute of play, and Ismael Chaves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ismael Chaves really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ismael Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muriti EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Ismael Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Muriti EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Celso Schmidt hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Digo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Lauro Hames fired a really elegant long shot, but Eliézer Lira threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Bernardinho Luz took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliézer Lira. Eliézer Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ismael Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digo Vidal struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jairo Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muriti EC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Muriti EC had played much better football throughout.
