Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Renatinho Passos started the match with the kick off. Aprasive AD's Richard Guimarães got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Neiva in the 5th minute of play forced Rinconada's goalkeeper Hernani Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rinconada's Hernani Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Guimarães in the 7th minute of play. Richard Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Esteves having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Claudinei Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rinconada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aprasive AD the free kick. Claudinei Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Aprasive AD's Gualter Valle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Richard Guimarães elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Rinconada got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Macedo. Nilton Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rinconada's Hernani Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Guimarães in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st minute Richard Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renatinho Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lenílson Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Erivaldo Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilton Neiva to make the kick off. Dorival Mumbach hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Richard Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Neiva in the 57th minute of the match. Nilton Neiva scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernani Esteves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilton Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Romeu de Godoy fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinconada's protests and gave Romeu de Godoy a yellow card for diving instead. Romeu de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rinconada! In the 77th minute, Richard Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nilton Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hernani Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lenílson Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Renatinho Passos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erivaldo Vianna. Aprasive AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renatinho Passos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Erivaldo Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Passos in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Rinconada booed when Aprasive AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aprasive AD played a much better game than Rinconada and deserved their victory. The Rinconada players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
