Eliézer Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Renan Quintal made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Carnaubinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson de Carvalho came free, but Vivaldo Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Cardozo having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frédson de Carvalho to make the kick off. When Celsinho Rossi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 60th minute, Frank Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Francisco Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Tupiniquins FC's João Francisco Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vivaldo Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vivaldo Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson de Carvalho in the 80th minute of the match. Tupiniquins FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
