After having played for 16 minutes, Ademir Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibiranhem SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jefferson Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Perez in the 18th minute of play. Jefferson Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jefferson Rocha came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ludgero's Nando Perez. But to his dismay, Nando Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ibiranhem SS's Jefferson Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Bueno in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Ludgero's João Pedro Secco got control of the ball when Elias Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Sílvio Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elias Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Ludgero's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Coutinho came free, but João Pedro Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Sílvio Coutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibiranhem SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Coutinho made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Coutinho in the 51st minute of play forced Ludgero's goalkeeper João Pedro Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
