Sílvio Coutinho took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evandro Miranda. Evandro Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sílvio Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jussaral FC's Evandro Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Coutinho in the 10th minute of play. Sílvio Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Rocha having to interfere. Nildo Tinoco's late challenge caught a Jussaral FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nildo Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Ibiranhem SS got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Tinoco. Sílvio Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jefferson Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Brodel in the 19th minute of play. Elias Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Evandro Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elias Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wanderson Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jefferson Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jussaral FC. Elias Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Miranda having to interfere. In the 37th minute Sílvio Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ibiranhem SS booed when Jussaral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evandro Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Coutinho in the 39th minute of play. Evandro Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Coutinho in the 43rd minute of the match. Jefferson Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Pitta went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Ibiranhem SS's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Schmidt came free, but Jefferson Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evandro Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Coutinho in the 61st minute of the match. Sílvio Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jefferson Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Pitta in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson Rocha saved Ibiranhem SS from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Ibiranhem SS's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Schmidt came free, but Jefferson Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Pitta might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jefferson Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sílvio Pitta ran back to his position shaking his head. Sílvio Pitta took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Rocha. Jefferson Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ibiranhem SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
