Zé Pedro Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Pedro Secco having to make a save. Nando Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Juan Neto made a huge save. In the 7th match minute, Ludgero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José de Castro to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Dé Valle from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Juan Neto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 14 minutes into the match, Livramento SS's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Bueno came free, but Juan Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Zé Pedro Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Livramento SS got a freekick which was hit by Roger Paranaense. 27 minutes into the match, Ludgero's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Andrade came free, but João Pedro Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Vander in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Paulo José de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ludgero's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luizinho Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovani Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Neto was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With a little luck, Livramento SS's Juan Neto got control of the ball when Nando Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Livramento SS booed when Ludgero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Juan Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludgero's Leopoldo Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Andrade's late challenge caught a Ludgero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. Artur Andrade hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Juan Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nando Perez went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ludgero's Dé Valle got a free kick in the 77th minute. Juan Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Róbson Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbson Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ludgero booed when Livramento SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes, Marcelo Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ludgero and the Livramento SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Marcelo Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luizinho Vander came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Livramento SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Vander couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ludgero had won after a very even match.
