Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jussaral FC's Wanderson Schmidt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Ludgero's João Pedro Secco got control of the ball when Sílvio Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evandro Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Perez in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Haroldo Vergílio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Pedro Secco skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Perez in the 16th minute of play forced Jussaral FC's goalkeeper Evandro Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Cássio Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jussaral FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ludgero the free kick. After 19 played minutes Jussaral FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Brodel. Evandro Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nando Perez's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Jussaral FC defense, Leopoldo Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evandro Miranda. The Jussaral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evandro Miranda should have stopped the shot. Evandro Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Bueno in the 31st minute of play. Evandro Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 minutes, Paulo José de Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ludgero and the Jussaral FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Bueno in the 58th minute of play forced Jussaral FC's goalkeeper Evandro Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Jussaral FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Brodel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Schmidt in the 62nd minute of play forced Ludgero's goalkeeper João Pedro Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanderson Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Secco having to interfere. Wanderson Schmidt scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Pedro Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sílvio Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Jussaral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Pitta couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
