An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Mangueira in the 17th minute of play forced Beirao AD's goalkeeper Natã Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marlenopolis's Paulão Mangueira in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Mangueira to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tostão Gonçalves in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernão dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Gonçalo Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlenopolis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Cristian Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes in the game, Ernani Maranhense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fernão dos Santos having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Beirao AD got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Saraiva. Natã Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Mangueira in the 68th minute of the match. Paulão Mangueira scored 2-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natã Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
