After 9 played minutes Nazario got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Senna. 11 minutes into the match, Nazario's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Santos came free, but Ismael de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Dida Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilson Bittencourt went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luiz Fabiano Matos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Ismael de Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Rolador's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Bittencourt came free, but Conrado Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Armando Costa fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nazario's protests and gave Armando Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Costa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Rolador's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Leme came free, but Conrado Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Rolador defense, Wilian Leme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Trancoso. The Rolador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Trancoso should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rolador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Franklin Neiva hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Gilson Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Rolador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Santos to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilson Bittencourt to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Rolador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Botelho to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Luiz Fabiano Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rolador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Gilson Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Trancoso having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Dorival Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rolador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nazario the free kick. Gilson Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Conrado Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luiz Fabiano Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dida Bueno's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Dida Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rolador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilian Leme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Trancoso having to make a save. Dorival Santos was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 94 played minutes Rolador got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Santos. Gilson Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nazario walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
