Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ricardinho Terra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Dorandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Castro to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Digo Meira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dorandia's Dadá Garcia. Dadá Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Terra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dorandia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela AD the free kick. Venezuela AD's Digo Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dorandia's zone, Digo Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadá Garcia came out of the goal and Digo Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Dorandia's Ricardinho Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Emílio Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Duarte Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábio da Cunha having to make a save. Fábio da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Duarte Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. When Márcio Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorandia's protests and gave Márcio Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Márcio Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Duarte Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardinho Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fábio da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Fábio da Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Dorandia's Duarte Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Digo Meira was the one to do the kick off. Ricardinho Terra struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fábio da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorandia. When Dorandia's Ricardinho Terra in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela AD's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Terra in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela AD's goalkeeper Fábio da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricardinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardinho Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela AD's goalkeeper Fábio da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Correia got free with Dadá Garcia in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Digo Meira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dadá Garcia. The goal made the score 0-2. Maurinho Terra struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dadá Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela AD. 87 minutes into the match, Venezuela AD's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Cardozo came free, but Fábio da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ricardinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Emílio Correia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dadá Garcia. Emílio Correia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3.
