The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dadá Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Baiano's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Duarte Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardinho Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardinho Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Jaracatiara SS's Kiko Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Jaracatiara SS got a freekick which was hit by Igor Freitas. When Ricardinho Terra came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Dorandia fans jumped to their feet. The Dorandia fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Dorandia's Duarte Cardozo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Júlio Baiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dadá Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ricardinho Terra scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Baiano in the 78th minute of play forced Dorandia's goalkeeper Dadá Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Kiko Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Terra notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Jaracatiara SS's Sílvio Mendonça. Sílvio Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kiko Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
