Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Breno Moura started the match with the kick off. Túlio Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Aleandro Souza hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Percy Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aílton Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Túlio Santana having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, Percy Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacaroca FC's goalkeeper Tomás de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Ronaldinho de Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guary and the Cacaroca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Guary's zone, Aílton Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Santana came out of the goal and Aílton Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Túlio Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aílton Sabóia went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, Guary's Breno Moura dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Aílton Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Túlio Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Sabóia in the 42nd minute of play. Túlio Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Percy Zonta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Santana. Guary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percy Zonta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aílton Sabóia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Guary's Júnior Soares got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guary's zone, Aílton Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Santana came out of the goal and Aílton Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Sabóia in the 56th minute of play forced Guary's goalkeeper Túlio Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Moura in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Guary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleandro Souza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Percy Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacaroca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Zonta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guary's Túlio Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Guary from getting a goal against them. If Claudinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Aílton Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Zonta might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Túlio Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percy Zonta ran back to his position shaking his head. After 85 played minutes Guary got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Souza. After 87th play minutes Aílton Sabóia shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Túlio Santana and just under the crossbar into goal. Breno Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tomás de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Tavares in the 97th minute of play. Cacaroca FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
