After 4 minutes, Kauã Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sapucaia FC and the Sucure AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Sapucaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Délio Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Alagoano having to interfere. Iuri Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Benê Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benê Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Délio Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Reis in the 21st minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Sucure AD's Iuri Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benê Alagoano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Dorian Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Sapucaia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Leão came free, but Benê Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Alagoano having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After having played for 54 minutes, Dorian Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapucaia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dorian Reis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sapucaia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorian Reis couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Sapucaia FC's Dorian Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapucaia FC's goalkeeper Benê Alagoano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benê Alagoano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iuri Baiano in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Ricardo Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sucure AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sapucaia FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sucure AD's Ricardo Cordeiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Francisco Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorian Reis's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Vito Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Délio Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Leão in the 86th minute of play forced Sapucaia FC's goalkeeper Benê Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Délio Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Sapucaia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sucure AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Sucure AD.
