After having played for 28 minutes, Aníbal Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucunare SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Tucunare SS's Aníbal Hermes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benê Alagoano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Téo Santana during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sapucaia FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Téo Santana hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Aníbal Hermes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benê Alagoano, 1-0. Aníbal Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benê Alagoano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aníbal Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head.

Manuel Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Dorian Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Luís Gustavo Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Alcântara during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sapucaia FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Renan de Brito hit a great ball. Tucunare SS's Aníbal Hermes managed to work through Sapucaia FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aníbal Hermes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benê Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Hermes in the 76th minute of the match. Vito Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bebeto Prata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dorian Reis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 86 minute of play. After some careless play in the Sapucaia FC defense, Nuno de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benê Alagoano. The Sapucaia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benê Alagoano should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tucunare SS fully deserved thier win.
