Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Róbson Peres took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edmundo Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albertinho Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Coelho in the 6th minute of play. Hélio Faustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Vágner Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertinho Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edgard Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hélio Faustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Barranca getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Noel de Carvalho hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Barranca's Silas Penha got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Zé Carlos Neiva's shot from long distance in the 33rd minute was not bad at all, but Barranca's Hélio Faustino knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. If Durval Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Autazes AD's Durval Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Barranca's Vágner Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durval Moura to make the kick off. Durval Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Paulo Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertinho Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Coelho in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes Autazes AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvinho Zanette who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Barranca's corner Silvinho Zanette fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albertinho Jacinto quite easily take care of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Autazes AD's Durval Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélio Faustino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Pombal scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélio Faustino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Barranca's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Moura came free, but Hélio Faustino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barranca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Carlos Neiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Autazes AD's players had a chance to rest. Zé Carlos Neiva made a great header on Autazes AD's corner, it was just that Barranca's Hélio Faustino managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalmo Ferraz during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Barranca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Autazes AD:s goal. Vágner Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Albertinho Jacinto made a huge save. When Barranca's Róbson Peres in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Autazes AD's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Autazes AD getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Natanael Neiva hit a great ball. Autazes AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Róbson Peres 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Autazes AD's Albertinho Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Peres in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
