Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vito Cerezo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Giovani do Vale. In the 6th minute, Valdir Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dinei de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Cerezo having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Dinei de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Donato in the 24th minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Valdir Amorim from a close distance when the talented Vito Cerezo managed to make a qualified save. Costas's players were relieved. Vito Cerezo had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Dinei de Medeiros from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Costas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Enio Zilles hit a great ball. Vito Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Valdir Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cataquesma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Cataquesma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Donato came free, but Clemente Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cataquesma FC's Clemente Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Galvão in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Donato made a kick off. Ricardo Galvão struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Clemente Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costas. A collision led to Cataquesma FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ronaldinho Valle hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei de Medeiros during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costas booed when Cataquesma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ricardo Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Costas's zone, Valdir Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Cerezo came out of the goal and Valdir Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Dinei de Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito Cerezo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. With a little luck, Cataquesma FC's Clemente Negri got control of the ball when Ricardo Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Dinei de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cataquesma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Carlos Favoretto hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Dinei de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Cerezo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Dinei de Medeiros put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vito Cerezo. When Ricardo Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costas's protests and gave Ricardo Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Galvão hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Cataquesma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani do Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Mazinho Secco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Negri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th match minute, Cataquesma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. When Cataquesma FC's Dinei de Medeiros in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costas's goalie prevented a goal. Cataquesma FC's Valdir Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cataquesma FC fully deserved thier win.
