One of Jabota:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dolearina FC:s goal. Ulisses Sampaio had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Telmo Sampaio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 23rd minute, Telmo Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolearina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some careless play in the Jabota defense, Duda Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Sampaio. The Jabota fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Sampaio should have stopped the shot. The Jabota fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Jabota's Rodriguinho da Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of Dolearina FC booed when Jabota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
