With a left leg Luiz Fábio Pernambucano saved Siqueiro from getting behind. 80 minutes into the game, Basílio Corrêa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro. Basílio Corrêa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 84th match minute, Siqueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleandro Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Evaristo Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Claudinei Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fábio Pernambucano. Siqueiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
