Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) João Francisco Lopez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eremita SS! Luís Gustavo Vieira had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Umberto de Andrade's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 7th minute, Umberto de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Luís Gustavo Vieira. Eremita SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Mameluco FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Lopez came free, but João Adolfo Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Mameluco FC got a freekick which was hit by Washington Barral. When Marcus Negri came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Eremita SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Negri couldn't finish the play. Wiliam Jacinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Gustavo Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. João Francisco Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Adolfo Meira stood somewhat misplaced when Marcus Negri came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 21 minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Marcus Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eremita SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Gustavo Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Jacinto in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mameluco FC's João Santana got a free kick in the 34th minute. Fernão Guedes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. João Francisco Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Negri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but João Adolfo Meira firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Jacinto in the 41st minute of play forced Eremita SS's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adhemar Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Vieira having to interfere. In the 46th minute Wiliam Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Wiliam Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mameluco FC's Wiliam Jacinto got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Luís Gustavo Vieira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th minute Wiliam Jacinto suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 58th minute, one of Eremita SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eremita SS. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Mameluco FC. Umberto de Andrade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Gustavo Vieira. 1-2. After 65 played minutes Eremita SS got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Vergílio. If João Francisco Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Marcus Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mameluco FC's zone, Marcus Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Meira came out of the goal and Marcus Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Adhemar Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mameluco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Nogueira couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd play minute Adhemar Nogueira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Gustavo Vieira. 1-3. Luís Gustavo Vieira came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Mameluco FC's Adhemar Nogueira. But to his dismay, Adhemar Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Marcus Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. João Adolfo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mameluco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
