Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Wiliam Jacinto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Serginho Medeiros's late challenge caught a Mameluco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serginho Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. Adhemar Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clevelandia's Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Clevelandia from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Dadá Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clevelandia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mameluco FC the free kick. A collision led to Clevelandia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dadá Rosa hit a great ball. If Wiliam Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Wiliam Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mameluco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wiliam Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clevelandia's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Adhemar Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mameluco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Nogueira couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Clevelandia's Charles Maia got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Clevelandia's zone, Wiliam Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro came out of the goal and Wiliam Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Mendes to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mameluco FC's zone, Adalmo Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Meira came out of the goal and Adalmo Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Wiliam Jacinto put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. With a little luck, Mameluco FC's João Adolfo Meira got control of the ball when Adalmo Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mameluco FC's Adhemar Nogueira in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clevelandia's goalie prevented a goal. When Serginho Medeiros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. In the 70th match minute, Clevelandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. When Charles Maia fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clevelandia's protests and gave Charles Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Charles Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Adhemar Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Adhemar Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiliam Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Nogueira in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mameluco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clevelandia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
