Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinei Mendes started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Claudinei Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Eremita SS's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Mendes came free, but Luís Gustavo Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalmo Ferraz got free with Luís Gustavo Vieira in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro having to interfere. Adalmo Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Gustavo Vieira having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Clevelandia's Claudinei Mendes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Gustavo Vieira. Luís Gustavo Vieira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Adalmo Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Francisco Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matías Vander during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 minutes, Serginho Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clevelandia and the Eremita SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Gustavo Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Mendes in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Claudinei Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eremita SS's Luís Gustavo Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Adalmo Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Marcus Negri made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Marcus Negri sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Adalmo Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clevelandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalmo Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gustavo Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When João Francisco Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eremita SS's protests and gave João Francisco Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Eremita SS got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Lopez. Luís Gustavo Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalmo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Mendes scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eremita SS's Luís Gustavo Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Mendes in the 64th minute of play. If Marcus Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Eremita SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Viana to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Paranaense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Marcus Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Clevelandia were the better team. Clevelandia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
