Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodolfo Brito got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Affonso's goalkeeper Cícero Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório de Amorim. Rodolfo Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Porto having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Luís Eduardo Reis had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Amauri Prado's late challenge caught a Marova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Prado helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Affonso got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Prado. Vitório de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cícero Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ademar Pinho hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Vitório de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César de Alcântara having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Affonso's Tiago Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Guilherme Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Emerson Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César de Alcântara. Marova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marova's César de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Senna in the 46th minute of play. The Marova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Affonso were winning 0-1.

Vitório de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Porto having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Affonso's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Brito came free, but Cícero Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Marova booed when Affonso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes, Donatello do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marova and the Affonso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Marova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatello do Vale to maneuver through the defense. When Tiago Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Affonso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Sampaio couldn't finish the play. Tiago Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Marova defense, Luís Guilherme Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César de Alcântara. The Marova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. César de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Senna in the 77th minute of the match. Cícero Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório de Amorim in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco Duarte during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Affonso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Duarte to maneuver through the defense. César de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Senna in the 94th minute of the match.
