Evaristo Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César de Alcântara having to interfere. César de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Rodolfo Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rodolfo Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Igor Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Marova getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ademar Pinho hit a great ball. If Evaristo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Dário Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Brito scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Malhada EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Brito came free, but Rodolfo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Digo da Silveira hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Vitório de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Medeiros having to interfere. If Vitório de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Nogueiras short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got César de Alcântara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Malhada EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marova were winning 0-1.

Rodolfo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório de Amorim in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório de Amorim got free with Rodolfo Medeiros in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Walmyr Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Marova booed when Malhada EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Digo da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Marova's Luís Eduardo Reis got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Malhada EC's Igor Alcântara made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Malhada EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Brito came free, but Rodolfo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Marova got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Pinho. César de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Vitório de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rodolfo Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marova. If Evaristo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Vitório de Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
