Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gonçalo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Meira in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Rape's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Barral came free, but Gonçalo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Germano Barral made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo Costa. Rape's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 12 played minutes Rape got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Costa. In the 12th minute of the match Cristian Toscano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Custódio Paraíba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardinho Palmeira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 18 minutes into the match, Rape's Donatello da Mata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardinho Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonçalo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Germano Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melissa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Dedê Meira made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo Costa. Rape's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 29 played minutes Melissa got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Ferreira. Custódio Paraíba did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Ricardinho Palmeira 32 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Germano Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Germano Barral's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Gonçalo Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Barral in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Tony Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th minute of the match Melissa got a corner. Rape's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Toscano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Toscano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gonçalo Costa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Barral made a kick off. Dedê Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Costa having to interfere. In the 59th minute Germano Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dedê Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dedê Meira came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Melissa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê Meira couldn't finish the play. Manoel Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gonçalo Costa made a huge save. In the 70th minute of the match, Dedê Meira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gonçalo Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luisinho Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Dedê Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germano Barral in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Costa saved Rape from getting behind. Amílton Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílton Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rape's Amílton Pimenta got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Donatello da Mata made a precise shot to the right of Ricardinho Palmeira. Melissa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Melissa booed when Rape was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Germano Barral came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Melissa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Barral couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
