Luisinho Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Brasil in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Agrovila AD's Celso Perez got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th play minute Rafa Matos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luisinho Cearense. 1-0. Kiko Cordeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giovani Ribeiro. Guaraquicaba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gugu Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Perez struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Giovani Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agrovila AD. If Rafa Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Dudu da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisinho Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Brasil in the 34th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Cearense having to interfere. Rafa Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Perez to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Rafa Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Donatello Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaraquicaba's protests and gave Donatello Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Donatello Gomes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Yuri Cavalcante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Giovani Ribeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafa Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisinho Cearense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Guaraquicaba were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Agrovila AD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michel Vides took the corner. The corner ended in Michel Vides almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Agrovila AD's Luisinho Cearense did a great save. If Yuri Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Guaraquicaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Yuri Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafa Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaraquicaba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
