Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thiago da Cunha got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute, Dino Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Perivaldo Almeida made a huge save. If Dino Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Vítor Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Perivaldo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Thiago da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Thiago da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Ramalho. Catirina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thiago da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Perivaldo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Araújo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Chico Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Ramalho having to interfere. When João Vítor Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Catirina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Vítor Araújo couldn't finish the play. Dino Marinho took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmo Ramalho. Dalmo Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Vazantinho's Perivaldo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel de Souza in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Araújo in the 56th minute of play forced Vazantinho's goalkeeper Perivaldo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago da Cunha struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dalmo Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vazantinho. When Chico Alves fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catirina's protests and gave Chico Alves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Chico Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Ramalho having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Vazantinho's Dino Marinho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dalmo Ramalho made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dino Marinho sent off a good shot on target. The referee gave Vazantinho a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benjamin Britto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Catirina's Dalmo Ramalho. 0-4. 79 minutes into the game, Alberto Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catirina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vazantinho the free kick. After a rather tough play, Catirina's Alberto Bastos got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Catirina's zone, Thiago da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Ramalho came out of the goal and Thiago da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Michel de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catirina's goalkeeper Dalmo Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Vítor Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Almeida having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Michel de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vazantinho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
