Afonso dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Reis in the 20th minute of the match. Afonso dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Alexandre de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Marrinho's zone, Wanderson Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Mandrak came out of the goal and Wanderson Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Marrinho getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Anselmo Pontes hit a great ball. Pedrinho Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Mandrak having to interfere. Rômulo Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Afonso dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 55th minute Marrinho were awarded a corner. Aníbal Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. Aníbal Silva made a great header on Marrinho's corner, it was just that Telheiro FC's Afonso dos Santos managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 58 minutes, Wanderson Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telheiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Vidal in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Romero notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Marrinho's Rômulo Mandrak. Rômulo Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Telheiro FC's goalkeeper Afonso dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizinho Reis. Afonso dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Vidal in the 93rd minute of the match. Telheiro FC's Pedrinho Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
