Guaporema's Gabriel Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Reis in the 26th minute of play. Gabriel Rosado made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Benjamim da Silveira sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Róbson de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Jean Souza made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gravatahy FC's Hílton Mineiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Gravatahy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Souza came free, but Hílton Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gravatahy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaporema the free kick.
