Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Vidal started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Fred Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marrinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alexandre de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaporema's Gabriel Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Vidal in the 7th minute of play. Gildo Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Mandrak having to interfere. Rômulo Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Gildo Quaresma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Mandrak was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Luizinho Reis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Guaporema getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Samuca Amaral hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Aníbal Silva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Rosado skillfully saved the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Guaporema's Jean Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rômulo Mandrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rômulo Mandrak was a little too slow when Gildo Quaresma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. If Jean Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gildo Quaresma was the one to do the kick off. Rômulo Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Souza in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marrinho's zone, Gildo Quaresma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Mandrak came out of the goal and Gildo Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Mandrak having to interfere. Jean Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Renato Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Rodriguinho Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marrinho's protests and gave Rodriguinho Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marrinho! If Luizinho Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Quaresma in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Gildo Quaresma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Marrinho's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Quaresma came free, but Rômulo Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizinho Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Rosado could save by the left post. Alexandre de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gabriel Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaporema's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
