Afonso dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Reis in the 15th minute of the match. Telheiro FC's Afonso dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Telheiro FC from getting a goal against them. Gravatahy FC's Hílton Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Romero in the 21st minute of play. Wanderson Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Mineiro having to interfere. Benjamim da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Afonso dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gravatahy FC. If Pedrinho Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
