In the 5th minute, Natã da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Carlos Fernando Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Miroros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando Tepedino couldn't finish the play. Clóvis Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fábio de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Carlos Fernando Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clóvis Carvalho scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Nenem FC's Arthur Borges got control of the ball when Carlos Fernando Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Coutinho hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Rodrigo das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Carlos Fernando Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Nenem FC's zone, Rodrigo das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Borges came out of the goal and Rodrigo das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natã da Silva to make the kick off. Clóvis Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Fábio de Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã da Silva in the 54th minute of play forced Miroros's goalkeeper Fábio de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Natã da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Fábio de Toledo managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Nenem FC's Clóvis Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Fernando Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Borges having to interfere. The supporters of Miroros booed when Nenem FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erivaldo Moura fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miroros's protests and gave Erivaldo Moura a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the game, one of Miroros:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
