Natã da Silva started the match with the kick off. Clóvis Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Régis Lopes's late challenge caught a Marteler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Régis Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Nenem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Ismael Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Clóvis Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Clóvis Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luís Paulo Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nenem FC's Natã da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo Montenegro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Borges. Arthur Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Albertinho de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arthur Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albertinho de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Natã da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Válter Cavalcante. Marteler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Natã da Silva took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Válter Cavalcante. Válter Cavalcante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã da Silva in the 61st minute of play forced Marteler's goalkeeper Válter Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Clóvis Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Paulo Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Arthur Borges however easily saved by the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Nenem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho de Sena came free, but Arthur Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nenem FC's Arthur Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho de Sena in the 95th minute of play. Nenem FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
