Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor da Costa started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Parana SC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alex Ortiz hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes Parana SC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Berger. Igor da Costa struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Paulo Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petitinga. Gilvan Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Igor da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parana SC's Paulo Xavier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute César Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petitinga's Oséias Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Carneiro in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Petitinga's Igor da Costa got a free kick in the 29th minute. Donato Figueiredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oséias Cardoso having to make a save. Igor da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Donato Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parana SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petitinga's Oséias Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Carneiro in the 39th minute of play. Paulo Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilvan Carneiro made a kick off. Vicente Loyola's late challenge caught a Parana SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. Vicente Loyola hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Erivaldo Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Xavier having to interfere. César Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséias Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Figueiredo in the 59th minute of play. Parana SC's Paulo Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Parana SC from getting a goal against them. Igor da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Xavier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Gilvan Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Parana SC's Donato Figueiredo in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Petitinga's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Xavier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but César Araújo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 81 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Eduardo Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Parana SC had won after a very even match.
