Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Bastos made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Ubauna booed when Margarida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ubauna's Rodolfo Proença got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Ubauna's Juvenal Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Bueno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ubauna's goalkeeper Claudinei Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Vitinho Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Angelo Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Margarida's zone, Angelo Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Bueno came out of the goal and Angelo Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Benjamim Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benjamim Negri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Arósio was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th match minute, Margarida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Negri to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naldo Bueno having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Margarida's goalkeeper Naldo Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Pires. Angelo Bastos charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Bastos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelo Bastos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Maurinho Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Benjamim Negri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vitinho Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Arósio having to make a save. Vitinho Sena succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 61st playminute. Vitinho Sena struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Claudinei Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margarida. Ubauna's Claudinei Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ubauna from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ubauna getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Paraíba hit a great ball. If Benjamim Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Egídio Bastos, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 78 played minutes Benjamim Negri rounded Ubauna's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Naldo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Bastos in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Angelo Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
