Silas Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tranqueira SC's goalkeeper Régis Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Eduardo Quadros hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Régis Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Donatello Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Botelho having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tranqueira SC's goalkeeper Régis Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, João Vítor Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itupeva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Tranqueira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Esteves to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 97 in the game by Silas Neves from a close distance when the talented Régis Freitas managed to make a qualified save. Tranqueira SC's players were relieved. Itupeva FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
