A collision led to Vanderley SS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. José Vítor Bueno hit a great ball. Cauã Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ernesto Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Vanderley SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Paraibano couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Fabrício Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanderley SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alagamar FC the free kick. After 21 played minutes Vanderley SS got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Hermes. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanderley SS's goalkeeper Anselmo Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanderley SS's goalkeeper Anselmo Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cauã Barbosa made a kick off. Vanderley SS's Anselmo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Barbosa in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Cléber Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vanderley SS's zone, Cauã Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Antunes came out of the goal and Cauã Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Erivaldo Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vanderley SS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ernesto Paraibano hit a great ball. If Gino Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Paraibano in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Lopez saved Alagamar FC from getting behind. Anselmo Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Barbosa in the 74th minute of the match. Cauã Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Vanderley SS got a freekick which was hit by Gino Proença. The Vanderley SS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alagamar FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
