Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fructal's Gustavo Esteves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Encruzo's Claudinei Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Esteves in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Esteves in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fructal's Gustavo Esteves in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Encruzo's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Oséias Bertassi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olavo Romero. Gustavo Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Brasil having to interfere. Oséias Bertassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olavo Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséias Bertassi ran back to his position shaking his head. Oséias Bertassi in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olavo Romero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oséias Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Romero having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Luiz Fábio Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encruzo and the Fructal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fausto Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Claudinei Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Rosa in the 34th minute of play forced Fructal's goalkeeper Olavo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Linhares hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Encruzo's Wellington Lago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olavo Romero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Fructal booed when Encruzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinei Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Gaúcho in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Fausto Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Fructal's Gustavo Esteves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinei Brasil. That made the score 1-1 after 58 minutes of play. The supporters of Fructal booed when Encruzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Mumbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Valério Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fructal's protests and gave Valério Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute Adolfo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Oséias Bertassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nicolas de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Nicolas de Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Encruzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fructal the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Nicolas de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Gaúchos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Claudinei Brasil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 87 played minutes Encruzo got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas de Andrade. Claudinei Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Esteves's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Claudinei Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Encruzo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
