Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgílio Soeiro started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Coruja getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Percival Mota hit a great ball. If Tales Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robinho Dantas went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Pacira SS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Davi Maia hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Pacira SS got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni de Carvalho. Virgílio Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kiko Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pacira SS's goalkeeper Kiko Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robinho Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. José Augusto Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coruja's Evandro Lopez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 29 played minutes Coruja got a freekick which was hit by Délio Meirelles. Tales Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robinho Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edu Barbosa during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pacira SS booed when Coruja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pacira SS's zone, Virgílio Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Cordeiro came out of the goal and Virgílio Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Coruja defense, Robinho Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Augusto Alvarenga. The Coruja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Augusto Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. José Augusto Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robinho Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Dantas in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Augusto Alvarenga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Coruja's Virgílio Soeiro suffered a sore thigh after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dagoberto Carioca's late challenge caught a Coruja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. Dagoberto Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Dadá Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Coruja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Quaresma couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Pacira SS got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Dantas. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pacira SS's goalkeeper Kiko Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Augusto Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Dantas in the 66th minute of the match. José Augusto Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Dantas in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Coruja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Coruja's José Augusto Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Dantas in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Coruja booed when Pacira SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coruja's zone, Robinho Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Augusto Alvarenga came out of the goal and Robinho Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Eugênio Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coruja's Dadá Quaresma got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dadá Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Evandro Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coruja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dadá Quaresma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Coruja's Dadá Quaresma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiko Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Pacira SS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
