Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Belchior Botelho made the kick off which started today's match. If Cauã Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belchior Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Isaltino de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes, Fabiano Nogueira made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tritona's Isaltino de Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabiano Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Isaltino de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pennapolis FC. Eugênio Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Isaltino de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Paraibano in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Belchior Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tritona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belchior Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Paraibano in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaltino de Brito saved Tritona from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Tritona's Cauã Mumbach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Faustão França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Nogueira in the 34th minute of play forced Tritona's goalkeeper Isaltino de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Fabiano Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Isaltino de Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cauã Mumbach came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tritona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Mumbach couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Paraibano made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Júnior Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belchior Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cláudio Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes, Giovani Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tritona and the Pennapolis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tritona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pennapolis FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guga Luz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tritona's Isaltino de Brito. 1-3. Armando Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tritona booed when Pennapolis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belchior Botelho struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Armando Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tritona. Cauã Mumbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauã Mumbach ran back to his position shaking his head. Pennapolis FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
