Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pequeri's Bernardinho Dante started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mazinho Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazinho Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 8 minutes into the game, Mazinho Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kauan Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Pequeri booed when Holofote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauan Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Dante in the 13th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Bernardinho Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Couto in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Pequeri got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Hoffmann. Hélder Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Leonel de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Couto in the 36th minute of play. Holofote's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Bernardinho Dante scored to the left of an out of position Kauan Medeiros, making the score, 2-0. Leonel de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazinho Borges hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Hélder Severo made a precise shot to the right of Leonel de Toledo. Pequeri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Couto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardinho Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th match minute, Holofote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Neiva to maneuver through the defense. If Mazinho Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Laércio Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holofote's Zézinho Mendonça suffered a fractured collar bone after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 62 minutes, Wágner Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pequeri and the Holofote players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pequeri's Wágner Soares got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Hélder Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Holofote getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Luís Neiva hit a great ball. Kauan Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Kauan Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Borges in the 74th minute of play. Bernardinho Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pequeri's Leonel de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Pequeri from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Pequeri's zone, Hélder Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel de Toledo came out of the goal and Hélder Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel de Toledo having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pequeri fans cheered their team off the field, for while Holofote had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
