Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Holofote's Kauan Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Pombal in the 4th minute of play. Kauan Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Brejo's attack was well implemented in the 6th minute, but when Luiz Gustavo Silva was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Holofote's Kauan Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Holofote from getting a goal against them. After 10 played minutes, Holofote's Wanderson de Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vladimir Sabóia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Holofote reached it. The audience was convinced that Laércio Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Sabóia was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When Elivélton Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brejo's protests and gave Elivélton Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. Elivélton Mendes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vladimir Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 18 played minutes Brejo got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Mendes. After recieving a nice pass, Holofote's Luís Fernando Amorim tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Laércio Couto came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Holofote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Couto couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Brejo's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Severo came free, but Vladimir Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Neiva in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Neiva in the 26th minute of play forced Brejo's goalkeeper Vladimir Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Neiva hit a great ball. Luiz Gustavo Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kauan Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Laércio Couto made the kick off in the second half. Kauan Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Pombal in the 53rd minute of play. Vladimir Sabóia made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Hélder Severo sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute Luís Neiva suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When André Luiz Pombal fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brejo's protests and gave André Luiz Pombal a yellow card for diving instead. André Luiz Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Hélder Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kauan Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Pombal in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Brejo booed when Holofote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brejo's Luiz Gustavo Silva in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brejo had won after a very even match.
