Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Luís Fernando Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanacre's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fernando Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdir Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Gaspar in the 11th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanacre's goalkeeper Robinho Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Márcio de Carvalho's late challenge caught a Paru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Lanacre got a freekick which was hit by Márcio de Carvalho. Lanacre's Luís Fernando Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carlos Alberto Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alberto Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Valdir Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanacre. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Alberto Gaspar to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Sydney da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Agnaldo Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paru's protests and gave Agnaldo Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Agnaldo Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdir Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Robinho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Fontes in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lanacre defense, Igor Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robinho Leite. The Lanacre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robinho Leite should have stopped the shot. Igor Fontes scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robinho Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orlando Braga hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Carlos Moreno was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paru's Igor Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdir Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Carlos Alberto Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Valdir Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lanacre's zone, Igor Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho Leite came out of the goal and Igor Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lanacre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paru.
