Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Percy Montenegro got the match started through his kick off. Valdemar Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Percy Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dida Faustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Abreu struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dida Faustino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerquinha. In the 13th minute Percy Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Faustino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Faustino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Montenegro in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pucuriu's Valdemar Soares got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Cerquinha's José Paulo de Mendonça got control of the ball when Antônio Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pucuriu booed when Cerquinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dida Faustino came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerquinha's Percy Montenegro. But to his dismay, Percy Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Antônio Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Faustino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Montenegro in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Percy Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Faustino having to interfere. Tarcisio do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo de Mendonça having to interfere. Fabiano Seco's late challenge caught a Pucuriu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Seco helped the player get up and apologised. When Felippe Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cerquinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Abreu couldn't finish the play. In the 69th match minute, Pucuriu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Quintal to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, one of Cerquinha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cerquinha. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Pucuriu. André Rosado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving José Paulo de Mendonça. 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Antônio Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo de Mendonça. Cerquinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Tarcisio do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pucuriu's supporters rose to their feet, but Tarcisio do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pucuriu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
