Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tarcisio do Valle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio do Valle in the 4th minute of play forced Poramana's goalkeeper Jefferson de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Régis Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Pucuriu booed when Poramana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdemar Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson de Senna having to interfere. Pucuriu's Dida Faustino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Tróia in the 17th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Poramana's Rubinho Simão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Faustino was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tarcisio do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dida Faustino came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Poramana's Rubinho Simão. But to his dismay, Rubinho Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rubinho Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dida Faustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pucuriu booed when Poramana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Rosado's shot from long distance in the 43rd minute was not bad at all, but Poramana's Jefferson de Senna knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Antônio Quintal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jefferson de Senna firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Pucuriu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poramana were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Tróia made a kick off. If Antônio Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Edmundo Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Faustino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Faustino was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Dida Faustino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Antônio Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Poramana got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão da Mata. 72 minutes into the game, Gil Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poramana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pucuriu the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Tarcisio do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Cristóvão da Mata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dida Faustino. Cristóvão da Mata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Yan Donato's late challenge caught a Poramana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yan Donato helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Poramana. Zé Pedro Arce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dida Faustino. 0-4. Jefferson de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Quintal in the 89th minute of play. When Christian Damião fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pucuriu's protests and gave Christian Damião a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Christian Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Rubinho Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poramana's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Faustino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Poramana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
