Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Víktor Paraíba started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Bauzinho's Falcão de Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Régis Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Váldson Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Augusto Valle struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Régis Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bauzinho. With a little luck, Capinal's Régis Coelho got control of the ball when Carlos Augusto Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falcão de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Régis Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Váldson Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capinal's supporters rose to their feet, but Váldson Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 minutes of play, Capinal's Víktor Paraíba made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Falcão de Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Régis Coelho was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Víktor Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Coelho having to make a save. In the 41st minute of the match Henrique Guimarães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Cearense skillfully saved the ball. If Carlos Augusto Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Falcão de Andrade made a kick off. Reynaldo Carioca hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Víktor Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Víktor Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capinal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Paraíba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Carlos Augusto Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Dé Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bauzinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víktor Paraíba hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Bauzinho's Eriberto Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Bauzinho from getting a goal against them. Váldson Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Eriberto Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capinal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
