Telmo Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castel. Júlio Guerra hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tiago de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Corrêa in the 18th minute of play. Régis Diniz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Urbano in the 22nd minute of play forced Castel's goalkeeper Tiago de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Matheus Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coroados SS the free kick. The audience was convinced that Marcus Urbano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago de Amaral was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Telmo Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Damião in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coroados SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castel the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Coroados SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Perez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Castel's Matheus Sarmento got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tiago de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Corrêa in the 38th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Coroados SS's Marcus Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ernani de Brito made the kick off in the second half. Tiago de Amaral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laércio Corrêa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Ernani de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Castel getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jaime Damião hit a great ball. With a little luck, Castel's Tiago de Amaral got control of the ball when Marcus Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Castel's Jaime Damião got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Castel defense, Marcus Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago de Amaral. The Castel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago de Amaral should have stopped the shot. Ernani de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernani de Brito scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernani de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Telmo Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Perez was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd minute, Valdomiro Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Coroados SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coroados SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
