Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Damião started the match with the kick off. Jaime Damião took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Lucas. Luís Gustavo Lucas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Castel's Ernani de Brito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisinho Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tiago de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur de Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur de Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arthur de Medeiros hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Luís Gustavo Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Damião in the 15th minute of the match. Germano Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Patos FC booed when Castel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tiago de Amaral made a huge save. Ernani de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Lucas having to interfere. Jaime Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Arantes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Tiago de Amaral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Castel's Lúcio Toledo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Germano Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Mello made a kick off. Régis Diniz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Castel's Jaime Damião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Gustavo Lucas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Patos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Damião came free, but Luís Gustavo Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arthur de Medeiros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. In the 64th match minute, Patos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Duarte hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Germano Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Patos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ernani de Brito fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Castel getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dalmo Donato hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes Castel got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Sarmento. If Germano Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
