Coroveira AD's Luizão Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Dé Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Berger. Chatelodo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Chatelodo booed when Coroveira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Chatelodo's Laércio Catarinense made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Chatelodo's Nelsinho Paraense got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chatelodo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coroveira AD the free kick. The supporters of Coroveira AD booed when Chatelodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guerra in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Coroveira AD's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guerra came free, but Michel Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Berger having to interfere. Délio Berger made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Dé Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laércio Catarinense to strike the kick off in the second half. Michel Matos was a little too slow when Luís Guerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Dário Albuquerque's late challenge caught a Coroveira AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Loureiro in the 65th minute of play forced Chatelodo's goalkeeper Délio Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Chatelodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Coroveira AD's Eliézer Souza suffered a sore thigh after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valério Reis during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chatelodo's Valério Reis got a free kick in the 71st minute. Dé Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Berger having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Luís Guerra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michel Matos. Luís Guerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Laércio Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luizão Antunes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. The supporters of Chatelodo booed when Coroveira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chatelodo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
